This summer, alongside our Psalm Springs series, we are excited to introduce a 10-week reading plan through the Book of Psalms.

The Book of Psalms is traditionally divided into five books, each believed to have a distinct theme by many biblical scholars:

-Book One (Psalms 1-41): Emphasizes God's presence with his people, showcasing His faithfulness and care.

-Book Two (Psalms 42-72): Highlights God's guidance and leadership, showing how he goes before his people.

-Book Three (Psalms 73-89): Focuses on God's surrounding presence and protection, often addressing the challenges and trials of life.

-Book Four (Psalms 90-106): Proclaims God's sovereignty and eternal reign, acknowledging his supremacy above all.

-Book Five (Psalms 107-150): Celebrates God's ultimate plan to renew and restore, culminating in his promise to make all things new.

We invite you to join us on this journey. We'll read one psalm each day, five days a week. You can find the reading plan linked below. We’re eager to see how God speaks to us and through us as we immerse ourselves in His Word this summer.

How to Read Psalms

The Bible can be hard to interpret. It’s lengthy, packed full of characters, and sometimes difficult to tie into daily life. Psalms is a collection of songs and poems from ancient Israel. In this post, The Bible Project breaks down the book into digestible pieces so we can understand and apply its truths.
