School Supply and Backpack Drive

Every Sunday in July, we will be receiving donations that will benefit students in Tijuana, through Centro Shalom, as well as local students from the Cabrillo and Jordan communities.

Here’s how you can start helping:

1. Purchase a backpack. We are looking for high-quality backpacks that will last more than a year (think JanSport quality). Click the link to find the ones we recommend in the $40-$50 range. Tip: There are many backpacks currently on sale, so you can purchase one (or more) now.
2. Consider making a monetary donation. This year, in order to make supplies even (quality, amount received), our team will purchase the items needed, as they are on sale this summer.

Monetary donations will be received towards both these needs, starting July 2. Look for our table every Sunday morning in July, where you’ll be able to give via cash, card, or our online Secure Give.
