Backpack Drive

In July, we are collecting backpacks and funds to benefit local schools. Here is how to participate:

• Purchase and bring a high-quality backpack (like JanSport) for a local high school student. We want to make sure they get a durable bag that lasts! Choose a gender-neutral color or pattern, since we do not know who will receive the bag. If you choose, it can be delivered to Parkcrest. The office is open Monday-Thursday (3936 Woodruff Ave, Long Beach, CA 90808).
• To donate money towards this project, you can:
  • Send a check made out to Parkcrest (or use your bank’s Bill Pay option) with “Backpack Drive” in the memo.
  • Use our online giving portal and choose “Backpack Drive” as the designated fund.
